A Battery is the main source which power supply to the Mobile phone Circuits and other parts.we can see four kind of standard Rechargeable Battery, those are Li-Ion , Li-Polymer, NiCd, NiMH). But NiCd and NiMH are used for old mobile phone.Because of that we can rarely find like that battery. However nowadays all mobile phones have Li-ion or Li-Polymer Batteries. When you want to buy a Battery always try to get a Original one.If your mobile phone power on you want to give 3.7V.Therefore standard Battery voltage range is 3.7V- 4.8V and are made of Li-Ion or Li-Polymer.

  • Battery Connector.
When you connect the Battery and supply the voltage to the mobile phone ,Battery connectors will be the interface for connecting mobilel phone PCB( Printed Circuit Board) and Battery.Old phones used 4pin Connectors( +, _ , BSI, BT). But latest design consists of three pins , The + , - , BSI. ( please check the Battery and Memory Effect for the more details about +, -, BSI).If you not fix Battery Connectors Correctly your phone will not be power on.

  • Keypad Membrane ( Domesheet )

When you Click the keymat(keypad mattress) of your mobile phone, automatically Domesheet (keypad Membrane) will be touch with keypad circuit  on PCB.

This Domesheets are made of tiny metals that act as a switch in a row of numbers and letters on  kepad mat.

Sometimes these metal rounds can be damaged ( oxidation or broken ) because of that phone keypad will not be work properly or it will be work as a uncontrolled circuit. When you replace a new Domesheet you must get a suitable one for your phone Model.

  • Liquid Crystal Display ( LCD )
When we do any operation of a mobile phone we want to know it has been done or not. LCD is the component it vizuallize the operation of the mobile phone handset.
It is made of glass with tiny crystal fixel that imitate the light source that has programmed to display certain information such as text and images.
LCD also comes from wide range of specifications older LCD are called monochrome which only display one certain color. The later designs where multicolored and displays rich text and images.

The higher the fixel amount on a certain LCD the higher the picture resolution of images can displays. When damage this part of mobile phone you will be unable to identify about your operation (is it have worked or not) of the mobile phone

  • Touch Screen ( Touch Screen Panels)
Touch Screens are common device in new smart phones and other normal phones. It can detect the presence and location of a touch within the display area.
These are made of flat thin glass which is designed with high capacitance value. When it is damaged you will be unable to do any thing if it is full touch  phone otherwise some function will not be operate( it is depend on phone model).

  • Sysytem Connectors

system connector is a plug in in connector which interfaces used in charging by charger plugging or input software or sometimes used as a headset by plugging USB data cable or handset. If it is damaged you will be unabel to connect your phone with USB.

  • Flex Cables
These are used as an interface to connect two circutis. Every slide and flap phone have flex cables notonly that butalso normal phones habve this cables. This cables are flexible so we can use this cables for connecting circuit with any other angle circuits.Because of damage this cable Circuits( combined with flex) will not be work properly.
  • Camera Modulers
This component is used to capture or video and store image or video. If your mobile phone is a 3G one then you will be make a video call using your secondary camera or maincamera. Nowadays you can see this phone camera with 12MP sometimes these are greater than normal Digital Camera. When it is damaged you will be unable to capture and video.

  • Mouthpiece (Microphone)

  • This is used to imitates and intercepts human voice to sends to others (Receiver). When this is damaged you can make a call but receiver will be unable to listen your voice. Microphone has polarity.when you replace new mic for your phone you must think about this polarity. other wise it is not worked.

    • Earpiece
This is a small speaker which used to hear when make a call.when it is damaged you will be unable to hear otherone(caller) voice. Easily you can replace this part and we can see polarity and non-polarity earpieces in mobile phones.

    • Ringer and Buzzer
This is also a speaker but it can generate high audible sound. Specially when we listen a ringtone, Mp3 that sound is generated by this speaker. So when it is damaged you will be unable to listen ringtone , Mp3 notonly that butalso unable to active your loudspeaker option in your phone.

    • SIM connectors
This is used to hold and connect the SIM card with PCB. If it is damaged SIM card will be not connect with PCB. Then your phone Cant Identify your sim card and then definitely you can see like this message in your mobile phone LCD " Insert Sim".

    • Switches
These switches are us as Volume Controller , camera switch ,on/off switch. However these are made by tiny metal conducts connectivity.Because of damage this switches sometimes phone will be dead or somefunction which are controlled by switch will not be worked.

    • Vibrate Motor
It is a tiny motor and when it rotates, it creates vibration. However if it is damaged your phone will not be vibrate.

    • TrackBall or Joystick
This is used t navigate certain features on the mobile phone and commonly navigate UP ,Down , Left. Right and Menu keys. When this is damaged you will be unable to navigate that keys but sometimes you can navigate that keys using keyboard also.

    ..............................................................................................................................................................

When You disassemble your phone you will be identify that all parts sometimes this note will be helpful for understanding its parts and about works. step by step try to understanding all things about mobile phone repairing and Be a clever Technician. .

Archos unveils three new quad core tablets

Archos has today revealed three new tablets that will fall under the "Platinum" brand - all featuring quad-core processors
Archos has launched three new tablets with quad-core processors and silver aluminium casing to fall under a new Platinum brand.
The new range consists of an 8-inch, a 9.7-inch and an 11.6-inch tablet  all of which arrive with Googles latest version of Android, Jelly Bean.
The french manufacturer hasnt always impressed with its tablets - check out our Archos GamePad review for evidence why - but hasnt pulled any punches with the spec of the Platinum line-up.
The three tablets will all feature an aluminium chassis and HD IPS display. Each tablet will feature a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 2GB RAM and - keeping to Archos track record - astonishingly cheap price points.
Going up against the likes of the Kindle Fire HD, the 8-inch Archos 80 Platinum features a 1,024 x 768 resolution and will be available for £179 this month. Scaling up, the Archos 116 Platinum will feature an 11.6-inch 1,920 x 1,080 screen and will be available for £299 in April.
Of the three devices, the mid-level Archos 97 Platinum HD is likely to be the most interesting. This 9.7-inch tablet will go squarely up against Apples iPad with a 2,048 x 1,536, 9.7-inch IPS screen. But, at only £249 is almost half the price. Its set to become available later this month, and is already listed on the companys website.
Its probably fair to say that Archos has never quite recaptured its glory days of 2002-2005, when its PVPs went up against Apples first iPods. But the French company isnt giving up without a fight and has continued to release tablets with varying amounts of success.
Keep tuned to T3.com for an in-depth review of the new Archos Platinum tablets soon.

Google Chromebooks now in 2 000 schools

If you weren’t sure if Google was ramping up their education efforts within the last few months, maybe this will confirm it for you. Google now has Chromebooks in 2,000 schools globally, which is twice as many schools that had Chromebooks equipped from three months ago. It’s not said how many Chromebooks have been handed out so far, but a high school in Florida, which recently joined the program, has 2,200 Chromebooks at its disposal.

The search giant announced the news on their Enterprise Blog, and said that the impact of the Chromebook program was tremendous. It has allowed the schools to enable tech support internships, offer homebound students to collaborate remotely, and teach students to become “digital leaders.” With that said, it doesn’t seem like the program will hit a wall anytime soon.
Google also doesn’t mention what kind of Chromebooks they’re handing out to schools, as their are many different models from various manufacturers, but the company said that “there is a device for any school, any student, anywhere.” Either way, the computers will no doubt teach students more about technology and the internet, that way they can be prepared for the real world.
Out of the 2,000 schools that have joined in on the program, Google notes a few schools that were just recently added to the list. St.Thomas Aquinas High School in Florida (previously mentioned) is one, and Rocketship Education in San Francisco, California in another, with 1,100 Chromebooks at its disposal. Transylvania County Schools in rural North Carolina also recently joined the program, with 900 Chromebooks split between the county’s schools.

LG Panasonic Sony TVs Will Use Android Phones as YouTube Remotes

New TVs and devices from Sony, LG, Panasonic and Bang & Olufsen are the first from beyond the Googlesphere to feature YouTube’s “send to TV” feature, which essentially turns your Android phone or tablet into a YouTube remote for your big-screen.
Thursday’s announcement answers a question we’ve had since November, when Google announced a cool update to its YouTube mobile apps. The update allows users to push videos on their Android phone or tablet onto Google TV-equipped TVs. Google promised that the feature, which works a bit like Apple’s Air Play, would roll out to other devices.
Sony, LG, Panasonic and B&O got the nod, and their YouTube-friendly devices will be unveiled next week at the Consumer Electronics Show, Google said in a blog post. There’s no word yet on whether or not this functionality will arrive retroactively to older non-Google-TV TVs from these companies, but we should get clarification on that in Vegas.
Later this year, we’ll see Google give the YouTube love to products from Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, Vizio, Western Digital and others. Of course, we also expect to see plenty of new Google TV products at CES, particularly TVs and set-top boxes that utilize Google TV’s new voice search feature, as well as improved suggestions on what to watch across free and paid TV, apps and streaming services. Stay tuned.

GravityLight Gravity Powered LED Light

Many people have somehow taken for granted the importance of light. If that is not the case, it seems that people have less appreciation for such necessities in life. Not so for those living in the developing world. Many people actually still do not have easy access to light and make do with those dangerous and costly kerosene lamps for light at night. People from the London-based design company Therefore has come up with GravityLight to help provide a light source in developing countries in need of it.
The GravityLight s a unique light source powered by the force of gravity. It features a light unit that comes with a hook where uses can place a weighted object. The lifted weight creates the energy to power up the light, thanks to gravity. The weight takes three seconds to life up and can provide up to 30 minutes for of light power for homes. It can also be used to light up porches and other areas of the home. But basically, the GravityLight is designed to help provide a source of light in countries in need of it. The designers of the unit have come up with the necessary fund in order to get the project to create the GravityLight started. According to their page at Indiegogo, you can contribute US$50 in order to send one GravityLight to a villager in a developing country as well as get one that you can use around the house as well.
